Coverstar Launches PowerFlex Rope

As a result of our extensive research and testing, Coverstar is excited to announce the release of our new PowerFlexTM rope, which is the next generation in autocover technology. Through a proprietary treatment process, PowerFlex rope behaves like a shock absorber that allows it to be more forgiving and self adjusting during operation. It also resists distortion that is common with autocover ropes making it easier to install and operate with fewer adjustments. PowerFlex rope's black color and coating not only allows it to blend into the background, but also adds lubricity to minimize friction along the track.

PowerFlex rope comes with an industry-leading, 2-year no break warranty when it is ordered as part of a full system or when it is ordered with a replacement cover for a Coverstar system. If a PowerFlex rope breaks during the first two years after it has shipped from our factory, we will replace the ropes. This warranty also includes a labor credit of $75 when one rope is replaced and  $100 when both ropes are replaced.

Recognizing Superior Customer Service


Customer Service appears to have become a laughing matter with the general public today. With companies, such as Discover Card and Carfax, exploiting the small fraction of bad customer service experiences, many customers are under the impression to expect less than adequate service.  Although these viral videos are entertaining and amusing, it is important to remember that not every company fails to meet the standards set by its customers.

At Coverstar East Coast we strive to deliver the best service possible to our customers. Sam Walton, the founder of Wal-Mart, once said, “The goal as a company is to have customer service that is not just the best, but legendary.” He could not be more correct and we could not agree more.

Over the past weekend, Coverstar East Coast received an e-mail regarding the exceptional service Aaron Ellsworth, our Regional Manager of the Pennsylvania division, delivers.  Below you will find that e-mail, as we wanted to share this with our customers and publicly congratulate Aaron on his performance.

Dear Jerry,

            It is an infrequent occurrence when we take the time to recognize a member of our team who has demonstrated consistently, a performance of superior merit. Aaron Ellsworth, our Coverstar partner, is such a person. Whether Aaron is helping us in the field or at a sales meeting, he has been a tremendous asset to Anthony & Sylvan.
   
            Aaron has helped us sell more auto cover pools by not only teaching us about the advances and advantages of the Coverstar product, but by the outstanding installations he oversees. He has also spoken with prospective customers to reassure them of the quality of both Anthony & Sylvan as well as Coverstar. His extensive experience has yielded a high level of confidence with everyone he works with.
   
 Since I sell in an area of central New Jersey, specifically the Jersey Shore, where auto covers are many, I feel very fortunate to have Aaron's technical support, troubleshooting experience and exemplary service  to rely on. In this economy, where personnel have been reduced to such lean numbers, it is imperative that every team member carry a greater responsibility. Aaron has shown time in and time out to be a true professional we can count on.  

   Just recently, I got a phone call from a customer experiencing an electrical issue that was stopping his auto cover and tripping the breaker. I called Aaron at 1 pm to ask if there was anyone in the area that could go to Spring Lake to investigate the problem. At 5 pm the customer called to thank me for Aaron arriving and solving the problem. This was on a Friday no less! 

            I look forward to selling many more Coverstar covers (7 so far this year), knowing Aaron will be there to make my customers happy. Please feel free to share this with whomever you wish.

Coverstar participates in Latham Pool Builder Academy

Latham International, the largest manufacturer of in ground swimming pool components, has once again hosted the Pool Builder Academy. The pool builder academy was organized to give pool builders from around the country an opportunity to receive hands on experience and instruction as they participate in the entire process of building a vinyl liner pool. The academy begins with the excavation of the hole and concludes with the installation of a Coverstar Automatic Cover System.

When Latham International first introduced the Pool Builder Academy, it was held in the yard of a homeowner that had purchased a pool and agreed to have the academy at their home. A few years ago, Latham decided that the Pool Builder Academy provided the perfect opportunity to give back to the community. Now, Latham works to identify charitable organizations that would really benefit from having a pool.

This most recent academy was held April 10-14 in Sicklerville NJ. The recipient of the pool was a home called Wings of Steel. The homeowners, Chuck and Dorothy Beck, who raised two children of their own, are now the proud parents of 10 special needs children they have adopted. These children range from 20 months to 20 years of age. Some of the challenges that the children are faced with day to day are spina bifida, cerebral palsy, heart defects and spinal cord injuries. Despite these challenges, the Beck family is happy and excited for the water therapy their new pool will provide their children.

At the conclusion of the academy, the Beck family was absolutely thrilled with the pool and very appreciative that we, along with the other companies involved, donated the pool and cover system.

Coverstar LLC, is proud to have participated in 5 Pool Builder Academy’s. Each of these academy’s has given Coverstar the opportunity to give back to the community as well as meet many new pool builders and introduce them to our Coverstar Automatic Cover System.
